Pictures would help but usually the 3M Weather-stripping Adhesive (comes in black and yellow).

Many moons ago some Monaco/HR owners with long, single-slide coaches found the slide seal dropping free of the upper edge. At the time there were several threads on this. It had to do with rusting of the metal clip that grips the sidewall. There was no fixing it except to replace the seal with one that has the clip embedded in the rubber, where it won't rust.

If you inspect your seal and find it fits the rusty-metal description, let us know and I'll dig up the old threads that list the replacement seal.

If double bulb (inner/outer) with wiper, a single screw at top should stop sliding down. (Stainless steel, self drilling= best). Seal usually held by clamping metal clip finger internal to the rubber, no glues used. If this has rusted out, you may need to buy matching size/ style in 25-ft roll ($100+/-?), and replace the vertical strip. (7-8-ft?) Good Luck

it turns out it's not my double bulb seal. looks like someone tried to glue a cheap rubber gasket to the outside wall. all is good. thanks
