Concerning your HWH hydraulic slide; I have the HWH 610 central-ground system and hydraulic slide mechanism.
My slide would not extend when setting up long term for the winter in Florida. The Carling switch just caused the solenoid on the motor assy. to click. I kept trying the switch, then suddenly the slide extended. When the slide reached full-extend the motor would not shut off, until it finally burned up. The solenoid stuck closed.
There is a specific 12V solenoid for the slide mechanism, and one for the leveling system. Both solenoids are wired so each may be operated from the same 12V supply cable. On my tank/motor/solenoids assy., the slide solenoid is on the left, leveling solenoid on the right; both are strapped to the motor.
The solenoids are the same as 200A dump trailer intermittent solenoids. If you need to replace one, do both at the same time, they are frequently exposed to water and road grime, and are not water-proof.
This covers all HWH hydraulic slide mechanisms: https://www.hwhcorp.com/ml17785_01_nom_pr_so.html
Your owners manual specifies what type ATF to use instead of HWH oil. Some specify Dextron III, some other types. For instance my manual specifies Type A ATF.
There is a wealth of information within the HWH FAQ page, and embedded links therein.

The hydraulic pump should be protected with a 12-vdc Manual reset circuit breaker near battery, so that when/if it sticks engaged, it kicks the breaker. Mine was (Dewald brand), it did, and new electrical solenoids (STENS 435-431) Was what worked with mine, (about $8/each vs $40-$100/each per OEM). Good Luck.

Thanks for that. I was able to operate the pump with an override, so I am thinking there's no battery breaker tripped. I was hoping the toggle switch that operates the manual override was the magic reset that I needed, but, unfortunately it was not.
I have removed the rocker switch from the front panel and I believe it tests okay, but intend to use a jumper, just to see if the slide will work while bypassing the switch.

Thank you. Yes, the HWH site manuals have been a great help. And, yes, it seems like every manual has something different to say about most everything, so it does, at times, leave me confused.
The consensus is to not use stop leak and, yes, I do not think that is the problem. I think this problem is electrical.

You do want to make sure hydraulics are properly PROTECTED on battery cable and fused on control circuits also, and protection NOT bypassed/ NOT over-rated, or you can blow hoses/ hydraulics, break structure, or start a fire. On My Dewald, (dual slides) there are also two small cube relays in control safety wiring that LOCK OUT the slides if the IGN=ON; (some) brands/ models of slides or Jacks/ stabilizers also have safety lockout driver seat switch or parking brake switch to prevent drive away damage, or slide/ seat damage. Good Luck.

sgordo66, I forgot to include this Winnebago-specific HWH service manual: https://myrvworks.com/wp-content/upl...-Motorized.pdf
Sorry for the omission.

I should add that leveling legs are still working.
Also, the slide has been creeping out while in storage.
The leveling and slide system is HWH Series 200.

If the leveling jacks are working the pump has to be working. The same pump/motor assembly powers both the jacks and the slides. I would suspect a bad solenoid in the slide hydraulic system. When the button is pressed to extend the slide, it also activates a solenoid to allow hydraulic fluid to be pumped to the room extension cylinders. If the solenoid is burned out it cannot open the valve to allow fluid to flow.
It's not uncommon for these solenoids to burn out if the valve leaks. The solenoid stays activated until circuit reaches the shut off pressure. These solenoids are only meant to remain active for a short period of time. If the slide creeps, it's a sign the valve is leaking.
I would put my money on a burned-out solenoid. If that does turn out to be the case I would also replace the associated valve to keep from repeating the problem in the future. This solenoid/valve unit used to be sold by HWH as an assembly.

To clarify, the solenoids I replaced were electrical to run the pump motor; there are also fluid control solenoids to select which slide operates= not affected this time.

Just tried a replacement switch, no bueno.
I think it may be exactly as you say. I have an email conversation with AZPete, who actually has reman solenoids he sells. He, too, has narrowed it down to the solenoid, but the valve, too is leaking, because of creeping.

UPDATE:
!. contacts on solenoids were dirty. Slide now works.
2. Synch cylinder (AP 13607) is leaking; this is causing the slide to creep out while in storage. Not sure of cost to replace.
