Lee, if you have rubber seals that slide on the sidewall of slide as a wiper blade, and if you have a fold in the rubber seal and it does not ride flat against the slidewall that fold will allow the water to get behind it and the water will wind up in the interior of slide and on rug or wall.
After your slide is open if you have a fold use your awning rod loop end and run up behind rubber so all your rubber seal is flush against the sidewall. Will stop water from getting behind seal.
