Left Montana a couple weeks ago, in Idaho now along the scenic Snake River. Much warmer here. 50's and 60's daytime and 30's and 40's at night. 53 right now at noon.

Mid-30's south of Cleveland, OH now, winter weather advisory from 4 PM today through 7 PM tomorrow for us. 3" to 5" but not going to stick around. Yet.
Got the leaves picked up yesterday, had the hot tub winterized a few weeks ago and put a tarp across it yesterday with plywood on top to distribute the snow weight on the cover. Snowblower is fueled up with a small amount of gas, car tires had 4 lbs psi added all the way around, dolly tires had 8 lbs psi added and the motorhome tires are holding their own.
Stuff to do: Remember where I put those car snow brushes and count down the days until we pull the heck out of here for the first winter away!

Yeah, nothing will stick here in OH, but it'll make a mess of the roads & everyone will have to remember how to drive in it again. That'll make for the usual tie-ups & accidents.
I envy you being able to get outta here. I think it's going to be a long, cold winter.

3 degrees right now in Northern Illinois. The coach is in the driveway with a fresh 4 inchs of snow on her. Coach is plugged in and doing just fine on floor heat set to 50. Inside temps about 37. A week from today we are outta here for our migration to south Florida. Enough of this winter already.

14 degrees here in Oklahoma this morning, my mom is staying in the motor home for now so the heat is on since I have not winterized it yet.

Enjoy your first winter escape. We like our winters in Hemet, CA after spending the holidays with family in Sacramento.

We have been working our way south from Washington for the last few weeks. We are currently enjoying high 40s at night and upper 70s during the day. Nice sunny days for now, but the rain is needed here in CA

My motorhome is crying.
I had to use the snowblower for the first time today because we got about 5" overnight. And hopefully the last time this year. It should be in the low teens overnight.

South of Cleveland, OH, but not far enough south...

My viburnum hasn't even changed color yet. Summer, Fall & Winter all in one picture. How ironic, huh? Got a bit over 3", low tonight will be 10.
