I have a cummins ISL with the well documented oil sensor problem. The oil sensor sometimes reads correctly and sometimes it just pegs the gauge to high. Cummins solution is to replace the sensor with an on/off sensing switch, which also requires a reprogram of the computer. You loose your true oil pressure reading with the recommended cummins fix. Have any of you found a replacement sensor that works as the origninal should, or have you come up with a solution that allows you to monitor the true oil pressure on the engine?
