Source for headliner/ceiling vinyl

We're repairing some water damage in our motorhome's headliner (stinkin' leaky skylight...) and purchasing pre-made headliner panels is pretty expensive after shipping/freight ($60 per panel + $150 minimum for freight).

We picked up some 1/8 inch luan plywood at our local home center for $11 per 4'x8' sheet and found a great source for 54" marine vinyl with 1/8" foam backing at $18 per yard.

Boat Parts & Accessories, Marine Boat Parts, Boat Accessories | Great Lakes Skipper has a huge selection and is happy to send you free sample swatches to match your headliner before you order.

To make our installation easier, we make a cardboard template of the panel shape, cut the plywood to the template, then used spray adhesive to stick the vinyl to the plywood. A quick trim with a fresh utility knife and we have a perfectly fit ceiling panel that looks like it's straight from the factory.

FYI, the Bayliner Corona Prx Gel White 1/8" foam-backed marine vinyl (stock # 1040059-5R872) is an absolutely perfect match for our off-white/light cream headliners in a 2008 Gulf Stream Yellowstone 40UL.

Here's a link to their foam backed marine vinyl selection. Currently, they show over 235 options in that one category:

Pirate, here's a link to the thread about the whole repair process, including how I made the ceiling panel template, ceiling panel backer, and attached the vinyl fabric to the backer.

Note that, in the end, I wish I'd stretched the fabric as it was being applied. As it is, it has a slightly softer texture because it's under less tension than the factory panels.

I've searched The great lakes Skipper web site about 5 times and can not find the material you got (Bayliner Corona Prx Gel White 1/8" foam-backed marine vinyl (stock # 1040059-5R872) which sound like what I need. Couldn't find anything for a Bayliner.
If you have a link to it that would be great.
Thanks

Unfortunately, I called back to make a second order and they're out and don't know when they'll have that, specific one back in.

I found another source for what appears to be the identical fabric - AllVinylFabrics.com - Whitecap Yachtsman Foamback. It's a 1/4" foam, which actually ends up being closer to the factory panels than the 1/8". You can't tell unless you touch it, but I think the factory foam backing was 1/4".

Here's the link!
