It would really help you get an answer to your question if you tell us about your RV. What year, chassis? Have you tried anything to solve the problem? Have you looked in the chassis fuse panel for a fuse for the backup lights?

I had an issue with my speedometer not working all of a sudden and it turned out to be a wiring issue from the transmission to computer. May not be your issue though.

I had a speedometer issue when the cable broke at the back of the speedometer. A replacement shaft in the old cable put it back in service.
