Spiders

What is the best solution for ridding the RV of SPIDERS? Is there a Fogger? I always see them on the ceiling. I never seem to see them when they first come out. Is the Ceiling A/c vents a good spot to look and spray? We are at home for next month. We travel with pets. All good suggestions appreciated. Jim Senn Athol Idaho

Most any insect fogger will kill off whatever is currently there, but it's a good bet they will come back after awhile. Spiders are predators - they eat other insects - so they must be finding good hunting in your rig.

try some diatamceous earth sprinkled around the rv at all points that touch the ground. Wheels, jacks etc.. It may help to keep them away after you eradicate them in the rv itself. There are many things you can buy at the hardware store and many recipes on google for homemade repellants

I think a spray bomb will work fine. I have more spiders in my house than in my motorhome lol.

Open the slides, then everything off, and set off a fogger.

We do this before we set out for the year.

I use Home defense, outside under the Coach, the basement area, and inside. It does not leave any residue and lasts for a long time. Not harmful to pets once dry........
Before I leave my home for the winter, I spray every square inch of my entire house inside and my garage, 6 months later, vac up all the dead critter's!

I had a problem with spiders at my home all around the windows. Used a product called Bifen I/T. No more spiders also good for ants. Safe for use in restaurants following mfg recommendations.

Spiders, like ticks, fall from trees, and require fogger to kill, WHICH CAN BE A RESPIRATORY DISTRESS RISK if you do not immediately vacate when using. Brown Recluse is biggest risk I believe?

There are several dry fog bombs. Or go to dollar general store get cheap bug bombs with Cypermethrin disposable gloves and cheap charcoal mask respirator. Keep change of clothes outside.Lightly bomb area up away from you back to front by hand backing out of MH . It won't make a big mess this way you can avoid spraying all over counter tops. One maybe two should be enough depending on size of cans.
When I had all carpets in house it's how did under beds and furniture . On way out of rooms , I would set off stationary bombs. We live on sandy soil with cats and dogs. The fleas local can be insane some years. People without pets had to bomb. The cheap bigger packs from local Dollar general sold like hot cakes.

I hate spiders, especially baby hatchlings by the 100’s. It is now that time of the year where egg hatchlings emerge. I find if I use a roll of fly paper I can pick up the entire egg sack and babies.
