I have a 1993 P30 with sagging springs on the curb side. How much work is it to replace the rear leafs and front coils to regain original ride height and levels?

Thanks,

Dave

Are your front air bags (inside the coils) holding air pressure? They can be replaced fairly easily.

And you could add auxiliary air bags (e.g. Firestone Ride-rite) to the rears to help those old leaf springs.

A good truck shop in your area should be able to take care of your problem. I had a 1987 class C a few years ago. It too was sagging, and not riding level in the rear. The shop was able to remove the springs and re-bend them to get the ride height back, and leveled the coach. Price was much less than replacing the springs. You might also consider replacing the front coils with "super steer" springs that will eliminate the air bags.

I went to scales---weighed it -Called Super steer ordered new 6300 Lb. springs---changed them in just over 4 hours--got it aligned at big truck place-Lynchburg,Va-$90.oo--and it rides wonderfully.
