Squeaking door solutions?

I have kind of resigned myself that a squeaking entry door on my Class-C motorhome is going to be a fact of life but just in case there's a common solution to this annoying issue I thought I'd throw the question out there for All Classes motorhome owners as this might affect Class-As out there as well.

Driving down the road, every bump seems to invite the entry door to chime in. RHEE. RHEE. RHEE!!! SQUEEK-RHEE SQUEEK!!

I've brought the coach to my repair shop, and they've attempted to tighten it at the latch. Though I will admit that I've tried to hire a resolution once and avoid the multiple "chase the noise" song and dance. So, if anyone out there has ideas that you've employed that quieted that door down while under way, I'm all ears!

First, the squeak is often the screen door or main door (usually at the bottom) rubbing on metal. Take a file and clean up all the corners. Also look for shiny spots where it's been rubbing.

And I'll add a little to what Don said.

Go down to Lowes or HD and get some stick on foam tape. Apply a few pieces on either the screen door or the door itself, so when your door is closed, the 2 doors compress the foam tape.

Each one is a bit different. We've done a number of things, depending on what the problem is. As Don said, see if you can figure out where the noise is coming from and try to tighten, lube, or limit its movement. On our last coach, I used some sticky backed cork to fill in little gaps around the door. Took care of the entire problem. On our current coach, that wasn't an option, and it turned out that the door just needed some lubrication. It was making a loud squeak as we opened it and after lubricating all of the parts, it fixed not just the opening squeak, but any noise going down the road also. Bit annoying really. It made such a difference that the rest of the noises going down the road seem louder. I lubricated all the hinges and the restraint mechanism with some silicone spray lube. Just a few shots here and there took care of it.
