State Sticker map
We just purchased a state sticker map and was wondering where you mounted it.
I am thinking the side of the passenger slide out facing towards the front of the coach.

We've never had one but all that I have seen were on the front end of one of the slideouts.

Front of passenger slide out. Works great in that location for us.

So, do you affix a state when you spend a night there, or just pass through?
I'm thinking when you spend a night.

I placed my State map on the rear of the RV in the middle of the bedroom window.

The UN_OFFICIAL rule is you have to spend 1 night in a state to claim it on your map.

We have ours on the passenger side on the door by the bedroom window,,,before mounting it we cut Alaska and Hawaii off from the contiguous states....mounted Alaska up on left side and Hawaii lower left side...we have visited all 50 in the past ten years....

On the two rigs we’ve had maps we put them on the passenger side slide out.
We also follow the stay a night in the RV rule before putting on the corresponding state sticker.

We did the same. Put it on a piece of plexiglass and used Velcro to attach it. Move from one MH to another and is now framed and hanging in the S & B.

Your map your rules. But most actually spend a night in the state.
