If you have it on and take it in for an alignment, they'll unbolt it so it doesn't effect the alignment. Then connect it back up and tighten the bolts after alignment.

U bolts only torqued to around 25 I think. If they use impact gun and bend the mounting plate, it will never stay in the right place. Safe-t-plus made sure I understood this point when talking to them last week. I left mine on when I had alignment done. They loosened it after the alignment when they knew tires were straight and then retightened. I told them to make sure they tap with rubber mallet when loose to make sure it releases all the way.
It was still drifting to the left so we had to road adjust it, and still, I had to manually move the mount over a fraction to the drifting side to get it just right.
