Alan:

You can order the Steer Safe directly from a number of outlets, including Camping World via internet. I had one on a 1997 Winnebago Adventurer with a Chevy P-30 chassis and it improved handling quite well.

I had it on our Ford V-10 MH Frame and it worked great. On our W-22 Workhouse frame it made a little difference. I still like it. I found it cheaper at Camping World than the factory. BTW, its very easy to put on by yourself. s/Toby

awr,
Glad to see you back. Please update your "signature" with rv info so we can answer your questions with knowledgeable answers. I happen to remember your first post and know you have a Workhorse chassis. Here is the url for Camping World and page for Steer-Safe.
http://www.campingworld.com/browse/p...=1543&src=SRQB
"To Order Today Call 1-888-626-5514"
I installed these on my W22 and enjoy much less steering work. The weight for shipping is 33lb. Odd the W22 is not shown in the page but a call will tell they do have them.
Next is shipping. Here's post office
http://www.usps.com/ I've done it for you.
Economy(Surface)Parcel Post 4 - 6 Weeks $74.05
Next is Customs & Excise. My wife routinely sends the niece and nephew clothes etc. I finally convinced her to NOT put a customs form on packages and they always go straight through. A declaration on pkg is a guarantee of tarriff charges. So if you do buy it here tell the retailer NO DECLARATION. However should you get stuck w/o the option, the clearance paperwork is simple and you do not need to pay someone for that service.

Now I have a question for you. The problem of very noisy gas generators is common here. I found that Dometic has a very quiet gas model about 56db 5500kw they are field testing in the UK and should be available here soon. What gen do you have in your rv and have you heard one of these new Dometics running yourself?
