Stepladder Mount

Does anyone else carry a stepladder with them? I have a nice collapsible one that I carry in my storage compartment. I would like to free that room up for other things so am considering attaching it to my coach ladder when not using it. I know I can use bungee cords but I am interested to hear how others have done it.

I see in your profile you have a class A motorhome. I attached my ladder under or near the escape window in the bed room against the wall using footman loops and double sided velcro. And if needed in an emergency I can use it to go out the window.

We mount ours on the back ladder with a ladder holder and secured it down with two ratchet tie down straps to keep it secured to the coach ladder.
