Standard hose clamps need a semi-flexible material to clamp around - Your picture appears to show a hard PEX-like tubing - A hose clamp probably won't have enough grip to securely seal the connection - If you replace the hard tubing with PVC clear or braided vinyl tubing, then hose clamps should work well - Tubing can be purchased at Lowes, HD, etc....

The hose that goes through the wall in the picture is actually braided flexible hose....so I will only have to remove and replace that section, I think😚. I am hoping I won't have to replace the short little sections that are PEX. I am hoping that any potential line blockage can be cleared through those sections with a wire hanger, once I get the flexible hose disconnected and replaced.

As it turns out, when I removed the hose leading from the water tank, I found what appeared to be plastic shavings blocking the line at a valve. I cleaned out the shavings and now my water pressure is much better..☺️. Thanks to all for your suggestions.....I love this forum 😊
