Has anyone ever opened one of these to trouble shoot it. Indicators showing good power with no power going to the motorhome. Remove the surge protector and have power to the motorhome.

Sounds like it’s not throwing the relay to energize.

Before I'd take my surge guard out of service, I'd get a volt meter and thoroughly check the power source.

A friend had one that did not power the coach and asked the park owner to check the power. The owner did not know what he was doing and took the EMS out and plugged him directly to the pedestal. The owner paid for over $7000 worth electrical repairs on the RV. TVs, Satellite receiver, A/C and fridge control boards, transfer switch.

SO, ONLY TAKE IT OUT OF SERVICE IF YOU CAN CONFIRM THE POWER INTO THE RV.

I am at home and checked my power supply before taking it out of service. There is no time delay which I’m guessing means it’s not running any tests. I goes directly to a power good indication but no power coming out. If I shake something is rattling inside.

Sounds like you need to trash it and buy another one.

There is a 120 sec time delay and a lifetime warranty.

On my first one, it also had a rattle. No warranty, so took it apart. Found 2 nuts that hold(NOT WELL) the big relay had come loose and one was stuck in the contacts.

OPs Model is NOT covered by the Limited Lifetime Warranty

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Please note the following Surge Guard* products, purchased on or after November 27, 2017, are covered under the limited lifetime warranty: 34830 / 34850 / 34930 / 34931 / 34950 / 34951 / 35530 / 35550 / 44260 / 44270 / 44280/ 44290 / 44300 / 44380 / 44390

OPs model is entry level, non field servicable due to sealed casing and replacement parts are not available.
Factory Tech Support, if sent back to them, Might service it but most likely just discard it.

No harm/no foul if OP breaks open the case cause it isn't working now and warranty is 1 year which from photo it appears older (34750 no longer available.....old model number)

Thanks everyone for your response!! Love IRV2.
Checked it all out and this old model is not under warranty only models after 2017 as someone mentioned. The head banger guy had my hopes up for a minute! Reached out to the company and haven’t heard back yet. Think I’m going to open it if I can get the security torx out with a flathead screwdriver. Would love to fix it with them being so expensive.
Thanks again!

It could work but still be out of spec, e.g. open ground, open neutral, or reversed neutral & ground. The coach electrical system can still power things up with those faults, but there is potential danger to either devices or people.

I realize he says the indicators show good power, but it could be an indicator light is dead. Definitely need more analysis with a voltmeter and not just "plug 'er in and see".
