Taxes on purchase of new RV

Okay just so I know what I'm in for when purchasing my RV what kind of taxes do I have to look forward to pay state tax / county tax is there more?

It's whatever the DMV requires for registration. Usually the same sales taxes as on a car, plus tag fee. See Register and title a vehicle | New York State DMV

That would be completely dependent on the State, Country and municipality in which you reside. Can you give us some specifics?

I moved my domicile (legal address) from Illinois to South Dakota before I bought my truck and rig for full-timing. Saved thousands in sales taxes. HTH

Suffolk County Sales Tax

We just got our coach....8.625% sales tax for Suffolk County to be exact.

One tax check, registration fees, plate fee, and any othe fee that adds up to an extra $150 that you dont remember or had no idea existed.
