Just wanted to say Thank You to A&E and Dometic for replacing my Slide Toppers. They began to delaminate and were year and a half out of warranty. I called them, explained the situation, emailed them photos, and they graciously replaced them at no cost to me other than labor. It just goes to show you there are some companies that are willing to go the extra mile....

What a nice piece of news. We're picking up our triple slide in two days and being billed for all three slide toppers that were rotten on our 2002 Alpine. It is out of warranty but what would make our fabric go bad when other coaches in our club are fine when they are older coaches? I've tried to get through to A&E but so far no luck. Thanks!

I guess that getting results on warranty issues is how you approach it. My slide topper awnings suffered the same problem however I made the mistake of going through Winnebago for relief and they turned down my request for some help without even discussing it. They just advised me that the topper awnings were only guaranteed for 1 year and that replacing them was my sole responsibility. The lesson from this event is that we should go directly to the vendor with our problems!
