Thetford Tecma False Red Light

I've searched and have not found a solution.

I'm getting the "tank full" red light preventing the toilet from working when I know the black tank is empty.

Disconnecting the sensors at the back of the toilet doesn't seem to fix it!

The "override" function does get it to flush, but the wife is nervous about the red light.

So why would the tank full indicator still be a problem if I have disconnected those wires at the back of the toilet?

I disconnected the yellow and red sensors on the black tank and added 680 ohm resistors in their place. This fixed my problem for good. I have a See Level black tanks senor that I rely upon to see where my levels are,
