Thoughts on current FMCA discount tire offerings for 255/70R 22.5 tires?

Yes, another tire thread. Yes, I used the search function and did a lot of reading.....which led me to be more confused.

Under this FMCA discount deal, these are the tire offerings and prices for the 255/70R 22.5 tires on my rig:

Michelin ST 230 $348.41
Michelin XZE $467.04
Michelin Pilot XD2 $471.39

Continental HSSR2 SA $350.95
Continental HA3 $361.45

I went on the Continental and Michelin websites, I read this forum, I did The Googles on the Interwebs, and I asked my cat what she thought. Do any tire experts have any thoughts as to why those two Michelin tires are $100-ish more than the others?

At this point, after reading all the threads on this forum, I'm starting to think there really isn't much difference between these 5 tires other than personal (subjective) preference?

Have you looked at Yokohama's? They're +/- $300 for the size you mentioned.

I'm going to look at other brands, too. Still trying to pick the "best" of the above 5 and then will compare that to Yokohama, Toyo, etc.
