My teardrop was very trustworthy and so simple there was nothing to break. It also costs me about 10% to operate and I would guess pollutes at even a lesser percentage.
For those of you that like and need a big RV I say do whatever makes you happy. Wondering what is going to break next doesn’t make me happy and that is why I’m going to sell mine.

I feel for those that have issues with their RV's. We have had eight in the past 25 years and none of them gave us any real problems. The first two were used with the rest being new. We kept stepping up from 32' gassers to our current 43' DP. In that time, we had one trip delayed for a day due to a DEF sensor and we were stalled on the side of the road for 5 hours for a belt replacement. The coach goes in for annual servicing both chassis and house. We just add fuel and go. I credit our success to a great dealer and regular maintenance. It must be very disappointing not to be able to use your RV because of a break down for fear of having one.
