Post Title, Registration, & Inspection in NY

Since apparently the DMV phone doesn’t even ring anymore…
I just purchased a 1997 Rexhall Aerbus in New York (same state, different county than I live in). What do I need to do to get it on the road?
(I know there’s some information on the DMV website; but I’m ISO tips from anyone who’s actually done it).
Any experience is appreciated! Much thanks.

Does the website have a "contact us" button? If so, direct some questions to them. You might also contact your local county clerk's office or DPS for some help.

I'm in NY.
You will need a clean title or a title and a lien release, if there was a lien on the coach, which is signed by the seller.
You will need a signed receipt from the seller so the DMV will know how much sales tax is due.
You will need a certificate of insurance with all the information about the coach on it.
After you pay the tax and the registration fee you will be issued a 10 day temporary certificate of inspection from the DMV. This will allow you 10 days to get the coach inspected.

I've been to Watertown - I used to volunteer at Camp Uniorondack up there! Title, Bill of Sale, Insurance, .
I'm originally from a state with no inspection - any insight on what they look for in RVs?

NY Inspection similar to car / trucks...
Lights, signals, wipers, brakes, tires
My MH (>26000#) is actually a buck or two cheaper than my auto. With my service shop I pull it in and activate each as the mechanic requests... 5-10 mins.
He also does my annual PM oil & filter changes and does a brake / chassis lube & inspection so knows them. Others may need to pull a wheel or get under to check brake pads.
