TPMS and wheel balance

When you buy a TPMS or change out your tires, do you ensure the device is part of the wheel when the tires are balanced?

I use balancing beads so it's a non-issue!

Don't believe my Tire Traker sensors have ever been on during balancing because tire shops tend to lose them. They weigh 0.3 oz/9g. I've been through at least one change of tires with them & it has never been an issue.

The TPMS sensors don't weigh enough to materially affect the balance of a 22.5" tire, or even a 19.5".

And yes, the shop will lose them or damage them if you try to leave them on.

I have the non flow thru eezrv tpms on rv and toad. They say no to worry on balancing. They are correct. I had no problems.
Dont worry, be happy.
