I recently purchased the Doran RV360. the manual says not to use braided extension. The problem is with the inside duals. I have found metal valve extensiosn from HALTEC, but they say not to use extensions with the TPMS for safety reasons. I know i could have the tires taken off and install new longer valve stems, but besides the high costs to do that, any other suggestions.

I've used my Doran TPMS for quite a while on SS braided extensions without any problems. Haven't added air to any tire in a year and they are all 6 good to go. Just be sure the extensions, whatever you use, are securely anchored to the wheel hub.

I have mind on the valve stem with no extensions. It's a little tricky to put on but the slots in my rims are large enough.

Bob,

My Meridian came with the metal extensions already on them. I highly recommend biting the bullet one time and paying for the right extensions. Trying to cut a corner will surly cost 10 fold down the road. I run the TireSafe guard system that allows you to fill air right thru the TPMS valve. They are probably a bit heavier than just the read only caps. 15000 miles and not a problem.

Do It right the first time and you will never regret the decision.
