I would like to find software or an online site for trip planning that would:
be simple to use
be rv friendly
allow you to select/avoid certain roads
advise of height/propane restrictions
allow selection of start and destination
allow you to plug in the expected # of miles you wish to travel in 1 day
show campgrounds available at the end of your travel day
show fuel stops of choice (Flying J, ect)

If I missed something, add it here.

Try the AAA site. They have an online Triptek that you can use to set up your trip. Found it quite good.

Microsoft Streets and Trip is a pretty good route planning tool that can be used while on or off line. After you have selected a start and end location and it has developed a route you can modify by dragging to desired detour/route. You can inport POI's such as casinos that allow RV's, low overpasses, etc. If you are online it will update road construction along your route. Not the best realtime turn by turn but excellent for route planning. Price is somewhere arount $25, maybe a little more.
