I received my TST pressure system and find that the monitor piece does not install using the dash ventilation outlets, and the nearest 12v source is by the passenger seat, and I am reluctant to attach it to the dash using the provided adhesive pad (as in "leaves a mess when you try to remove it.")

Anyone found a clean solution? Bean bag mount?

i use sticky velcro. see my earlier post for a picture. i picked up 12v power under the dash from the backup monitor source.

Rich, if you do not want to wire direct you can get a 12v extension cord for your cig lighter in just about any length you wanr at Radio Shack, Wal-Mart, etc. Dan's idea of Velcro works very well, when you want to remove any "mess" get a small bottle of "Goof-Off at any drug store, Wal-mart, etc. it works pretty slick, Ken Dist. for TST.....

Sounds like a 12v extension and a beanbag mount (I found some decent ones) should work out OK, and I can use the setup for the GPS, too.

I have found over the years that charcoal lighter fluid cleans off sticky glue and does not hurt anything. It is great for removing tar also and it's cheap. Seems to be same as mineral spirits a a fraction of the price.
