Uneven wear on slide out track

While replacing the slide wipes on the rear slide of our 2014 34 QFA, I noticed the lower track was showing uneven wear, particularly at the top of the lower track. I did tighten up the screws attaching the track to the slide, as many were loose. I keep the slide lubricated, and lubricated it when I completed installing the wipes. I now know to watch this track closely, from here on. I hope the tightening of the screws will stop this wear.

Is there anything else I can do to help prevent a failure of this slide system?

Thank you for you comments.

This slide system appears to be Schwintek ( not sure of the spelling ) a Lippert ( LCI ; Lippert Components INC.) product .

Last time I was on the Lippert site , all info on Schwintek ( repair/parts info & video links ) had disappeared; I believe the product has been re-named ; Lippert in wall slide mechanism ; to get away from the bad reputation surrounding the Schwintek name.

There may still be other sources on the internet of videos , showing repair and adjustments . I haven't spent enough time on the Lippert site to see if there is any info tucked away in a near invisible spot.

Do a search in the iRV2 forums for info on the system and problems others have encountered.

How about that? A thorn by any other name is still a Schwintek, especially if you don't update the name everywhere.

Yes, that track is a Schwintek. Supposedly Lippert did a big reliability update around 2019-2020 but that doesn't help anyone with the older components.

Lippert actually has competent staff manning their support lines so I'd give them a call to see what they think about that issue.

This slide alternative has some good reviews but it's pricey as heck: https://vroomslidesystems.com/vroom-slide-system/
