We may upgrade our captains chairs and sofa bed. In looking at several options, looks like Flexsteel is the good stuff. Also see some similar furniture at discountrvfurniture.com.
However, at their posted prices, can't be Flexsteel. Anyone have any experience with any of these vendors....any recommedations?

Are you going to GNR? I missed last year and know they have downsized the Surplus Store but they used to have furniture. Usually different pieces, but I recall sofa and chairs. I'm not talking about all the furniture that was in the front room of the old store but the pieces in the back of the store. You can call Winnie's main number and ask for the Surplus Store and see what they have.

We were in the Boise Idaho area a few months ago and stopped at this location:
http://www.rvfurniturecenter.com/location.html

They did have Flexsteel and other items. The owner told me buy a lot of discontinued items, but some new as well. Might be worth a look.

We have had Flexsteel and Villa but prefer Villa for comfort and durability. Sorry I don't know of a good vendor; I have not needed to find one.

We just upgraded our seating to a pair of La Z Boy recliners. They are "wall hugger" design, and are SUPER comfortable. I had a pair of Euro Recliners that I were only about a year old that I never was all that happy with. Just not as comfortable as the LaZBoy chairs.

Just recently we got rid of the very uncomfortable hide-a-bed couch and replaced it with a Lazy-Boy wall hugger reclining love seat. It's just a shorter version of their coach and fit's nicely in the same space with room to spare. Since it's just the two of us we didn't need the hide-a-bed.

The new unit is so-o-o-o comfortable. Another benefit is it weighs about half what the hide-a-bed did.

Go out to Bradd & Hall and look at the Lafer chairs to see if they will fit in your scheme. They are pricey, but after a year & a half of using them....definitely worth it. Small footprint for a chair, lays nearly flat (we have both slept in them at one time or another) and the foot rest is integrated so no extra piece. Look good and very confortable. We have no sofas and this is our solution for that.

discountrvfurniture.com has a fairly good selection of furniture at prices that don't make you flinch. Check em' out.

I tried dealing with discountrvfurniture as I did like their prices and the Cabrillo model captain chair, however, I was disappointed with their knowledge of their own merchandise. I asked the simple question as to whether or not this chair would fit my 6 way power base, they were not sure, please send picture of base. Sent picture of base and controls. Not sure, depends on who manufactured power base and where controls are located. They were aware that I had Flexsteel seats and they had pictures. Guess I will be looking elsewhere. If anyone knows who makes this Cabrillo model chair or where else I may locate them please let me know. I would not recommend discountrvfurniture.
