Used Class B+ or Class C

I have 50K. Live in N. GA. Would like to purchase clean, low milage Class B+ or Class C. Previously owned a Bounder 33C. Am 82 now and it was too much to handle. Prefer Ford powered. I like the Entegra Odyssey line, but no more than 26 ft. long. Or perhaps Compass or Gemini lines. But no more than 50K.

Maybe look at an older Coach House? Ford E350/450 chassis and very well built. Newer ones are outside of your budget but they have been around for 40 years. A 200x model can probably be had for $50k. Search on RV Trader and see what pops up.

I recommend Phoenix Cruiser. Mine was 25ft long. If you go 2015 or older, they'll be in your price range. Here's an example:

I agree with the recommendations to look at well preserved models from Coach House or Phoenix Cruiser. Obtaining factory support should be an aspect of a purchase decision, fortunately both Phoenix Cruiser & Coach House have a solid reputation in this regard.

At the age of 65, I prefer much less trouble shooting and DIY repairs …I imagine I’ll feel more strongly about contorting my arthritic body into hard-to-reach areas a decade from now.

A top quality Tier 1 build becomes more essential as I progressively age. I won’t have the patience to ‘screw around’ with light duty fixtures attached to flimsy paneling and stapled construction in low-quality mass produced brands.

IF you have a competent (any brand) RV Service Center, or independent mobile RV Tech in your area …I would also consider a Canadian made Pleasure Way rig, since their enduring build quality is highly respected within the industry.

I think Pleasure Way’s ‘Pursuit’ B+ model on a Ford gas powered chassis, offers a lot of value in a compact, non-slide rig.

Simplicity of design (with less failure points) may be attractive attributes for your needs, or floor plans featuring a permanent bed that doesn’t require preparation to use.

The B+ rigs built upon a true commercial cutaway platform are more spacious than the van-based versions (equipped with curbside barn doors …or a slider) which are much narrower, and have less head room).

Below are rigs within (or close to) your price range, while not necessarily possessing all ideal features … these are more agile, easier to maneuver 23 ft models:

I had a Gemini on a Ford Transit chassis that was nice to drive and got good diesel milage. The rear bed was a slide out.

Prior to retirement we had a Forest River Lexington B+ and we really loved it. The body style is cool and it was easy to drive. Checking them out on line the price is in your budget.
