With Newmar I've seen even a couple of Newmar 5th wheels being worked on at their Customer Service Center. Didn't even know they made 5th wheels at one point..... Also met a couple with an 05 Dutch Star at the facility where they had a lot of work conducted on it.
Many of the older coaches are very serviceable chassis wise as those companies..when they went bankrupt were bought by other RV - Coach companies.

Cummins ISX550 / 600 / 650 issues are not limited to Country Coach units...Other owners also report common Cummins valve issues related to EGR system, though seems less common on engines of lower HP.

Paint crazing / checking is common to ALL mid 2000s assembly line coaches. Had something to do with fiberglass makeup back then off gassing under the paint. Worse on dark colors.

2 of the biggest bankruptcies in the industry were never bought by an RV company. Fleetwood was bought by an investment firm that did build fire trucks and ambulances. Monaco went to Navistar who destroyed the company. Navistar then sold it to Rev. They junked all the legacy parts and stopped giving tech support! I should add that in many cases the online forums for many coaches provide more information for owners than the mfrs.

The quality of workmanship was fair (and I would say it was better than many other RV in that class for $100,000 new!) Then we bought a Thor B+ in 2015 ish and OMG after five spilt water tanks removing tanks as they kept leaking in seams with a week or two and to find all the insulation strips from attaching wires to panel next to tanks and they did not even vacuum it up, really? Then another 8
