Vanity light only works with inverter or shore power

In an effort to better understand my Newley acquired 03 Discovery ,
We are currently boondocking at Zmax dragway

My wife comes out and asked me why all the lights worked except the vanity
I checked all breakers and scratched my head everything else worked fine
I know it worked when plugged into shore power
I flipped the inverter on and they come to life
Just wondering why everything else works off battery DC but the vanity lights require inverter

Something to do with being an AC fixture maybe?

Almost sure that's the issue , , can you follow the wiring to an outlet?
It would be odd for the RV manufacturer to have both 12volt and 120 volt lighting installed , any chance a PO , added this light ?

Interesting. Pull a bulb and see what the voltage is. Most likely 110 volts. If 12, there would be a transformer somewhere connected to 110 volts.

My CC has both 12 and 120 volt lights over the bathroom sinks.
