Washing Motorhome With Slides
Do you wash your rig with the slides in or out? What products do you use to get rid of streaks and gets the rig clean. Do you use a power foam when you wash your rig?

If slide is dirty, out. If slide is clean, in.
Usually the slide surfaces are clean, but sometimes the rollout topper/awning needs cleaned.

This is basically what I do and it works well. Slides in.
Note, you will also need to get the soap cannon Martin listed on the description as the one that comes with the pressure washer is worthless:

I usually open slides every other washing. Streaks mostly come from the roof, clean it and rub it down with 303.

I certainly washed or had my coaches washed with the slides in and/or out on my two previous depending what was dirty.
When I washed them, I used Dawn liquid and a long-handled cotton-head pole. I would put a microfiber towel on the end and start working! Actually, I enjoyed washing my coaches if I had the right place which I normally did at my storage facility. It would take me about 4-5 hours to wash and dry.
Now, my little 'Bee' takes about five minutes!
Safe travels,
Mark

I use a foam cannon with Chemical Guys soap on my power washer then wash with the Aero Cosmetics wash mop head on their expanding pole.
Then waxed with Aero Cosmetics Wash Wax All, spray it on and wipe with on side of the mop head and flip it over and dry it with the other. The pole expands from 4 to 9 feet so no ladder needed
Great stuff that is used on airplanes, I’ve had many compliments on how shiny my 6 year old rig is. I usually do it twice a year.

I wash our MH with the slides in. I just use regular car wash liquid and drive it a while after rinsing to dry it off!

Baby Shampoo
I use 1/4 cup of baby shampoo and 1/2 cup of distilled white vinegar mixed in a 5 gal. bucket. Apply with a Mary Moppins 13" pure 100% lambswool was and pad holder.

You must have a Tiffin or Newmar since this is what they recommend. I use this same method and rinse with spot free water so no drying needed. I wash with slides in and when I clean the sides of the slides I use Wash Wax All or similar dry wash.

Same here except I give the whole RV a rinse with DI water for a spot free rinse. Saves my knees from up and down the ladder trying to dry the RV, also cuts about 2 hours off the whole process.
Slides in since my driveway is sloped and I cannot level to open the slides. I will on occasion use Wash Wax All on the slide sides when I am camping. I have an adjustable ladder which allows me to reach high enough to accomplish the task (high enough to clean the windshield the fiberglass about 1-1 1/2 feet above the windshield).

After washing a side, I use distilled water for a rinse that is applied using a pump up hand sprayer. It works for me.

Most times I wash with the slides in, but every now and then wash with the slides out. When out will a spray on / wipe off “Wax”.
