Water Filter Support Bracket Project

The previous owner of my Fleetwood had purchased a water filter for the rig, but hung it from the plumbing center panel with zip ties. The allowed the reservoir of the filter to touch the bottom of the plumbing bay. The vibration, I feared, would cause cracking.

I had a piece of stout aluminum lying around, bent it into an S-shape and hollowed out two holes: one into which the filter reservoir goes, a smaller hole for stowing a safety plug for the inlet. Once painted, it was anchored to the panel with stainless screws. Because the plate's bottom rests on the base of the doorframe, it stabilizes the panel. Best, the filter is suspended above the bay floor, minimizing vibration-induced damage.

An easy project for the DYI'er!
