Dometic routes the drip tray drain hose out the lower vent cover

Norcold routes the drip tray drain hose into a drip cup next to burner

**Some RV MFGs route either down thru compartment floor to exterior below the RV

Dometic or Norcold drain hoses become brittle with age...crack/fall apart and are a PITA to replace due to location of drain port from drip tray

I had a similar symptom on my fridge, only happened when camping not storage so ruled out condensate drain. I finally figured out that they had left the hose that goes into the ice maker tube a little short and it would run part of the ice maker fill down the side of the fridge.

If it’s a residential refrigerator it’s most likely the tube to the water dispenser in the door. There is a connection under the door for removing the doors that can leak.

Take care

Turns out the water leak was caused by a leaky shower valve. We replaced the valve and are having no more problem.

Really tough tracking down a water leak, as the leak follows gravity.

My husband was finally able to sort out the source of the water leak. It was coming from a leaky shower valve. It’s been replaced and no more problem
