Water Pump issues on 2004 Diesel Fleetwood Bounder 38N

I've lost power to the water pump system. The switches are not working and have no input power. Can not find location of fuse for system.

Do you have several switches for your water pump? If so, are they momentary switches where you push them, and they rock back? If yes to both questions, you may have a bad water controller switch. It looks like this and is usually located withing a foot or so of the water pump. The black wire from the pump should run to the controller. The way to test it......take a piece of wire and attach it to a ground in the water bay (metal screw or bolt) and then attach the other end to the black wire of the water pump. If the pump turns on, your controller is bad. They're about $45 on Amazon.

If none of the above applies..., then you need to find the fuse or add auxiliary 12 volt power directly to the pump and make sure the pump is still good.

Usually the fuse is an inline holder within a foot of the pump.

If I’m not mistaken, the BCC (black box) in the electrical bay, at least that’s where it is on my Providence, should have a fuse for the water pump. I’d start there.

Water Pump

I just had the same problem on my 06 bounder 38N. Turned out the contacts on the controller needed to be cleaned. Once the contacts were cleaned the pump works good. The controller was about a ft. from the pump.
