Weather Blast

we were coming in from visit to gkds and after about 5 hrs on road got to the road about 4 miles long to cut across to home. we are in Asheville nc area. well we got hit with a freaky blast , windshield started to ice up instantly, weather people said fog was freeaing. road was two lane narrow.the entire road went from ok to solid black ice. once you get on the road there are no pull off that can hold a rig rig is forty feet towing jeep liberty. speed went immediately down to crawl like on hands and knees speed. then the fun started if you stopped you would start to slide sideways. so you had to keep moving. I actually had the rig 45 degrees out on both sides 4 times. had to go up a grade. I went to car behind me and told lady to hang back. did not know what was about to happen. she said mr I been filming the whole time you been dancing with that big thing. stupid me did not ask for copy. anyway me God and MH talked a whole lot. after 2 hours I eased on down the road

I probably would have stopped and camped out. Hope you made it home safely.

We had that earlier this week. Half an inch of ice covering the whole world here. Glad you got through.

I always thought the proper name for that condition was "Sphincter Factor."

Glad you're OK. It brings to mind the old saying "like a hog on ice". When we are in the MH I tend to believe the weather folks, if they're wrong I just lost some time, if they're right, I may have saved our lives.
