The folding king bed doesn't bother us. We love the size and room. We would have been ok with one that didn't fold of course but it sure wasn't a deal breaker by any means. We love the floor plan more than anything we saw and still have a dinette, couch or overhead bunk to sleep on if we did not want to take the slide out. Everyone has different things that are important to them and even the things that are important changes at different stages in your life. Our normal travels will be two adults and three dogs with grown children and possibly grandchildren meeting us sometimes at our destination. Keeping the driving size reasonable and still having space at our destination with lots of ac were our big things.

We looked at an Alegro Bus that had that. I wasn't crazy about it. There are some with that and some without. The ones without have storage under the bed but have slightly smaller dresser storage.

Bought first motor home last fall.
In the search, no slides was one of the requirements.
Found a small class C (B+) without slides that has been perfect for us for the last 9,000 miles.
Never have to worry about the slide malfunctioning.

A LOT to be said for this approach...I applaud you!

We have a fiver and ours is not usable at all with any of the three slides in. It's always in the back on my mind when I hit that little button to extend...WILL THE SLIDES COME OUT THIS TIME???

They always have (knocking on the knotty pine of my head) BUT I just fear the day when they fail...for whatever reason

That was a requirement for us also but it did eliminate the ability to have a washer/dryer which would have prevented getting into the rear bedroom with the slide in. My wife said she could live without but is now making snide comments about not getting her w/d.

We'll see when when start using our new RV.

I don't think both of us could live in a Moho without a living room slide. I traveled in one by myself for 6 years and that was fine. The two of us would be tripping over each other. We had a big Moho with two slides and now about the same size with one. We are very comfortable now but I would like to have a full king bed.
