What is the most used insurance company for a motorhome
Need to find a new insurance carrier for my class c, HR. Just got letter telling me that old agent will no longer represent Nationwide. So what do you all have and recommend?
Thanks for your comments
Jeff

Here is a link to just over 9,000 threads on IRV2 about "RV Insurance".
https://www.google.com/search?q=%22r...=11&gws_rd=ssl
Take 5-10 from the last month and you will have a much deeper basis of knowledge from the contributors as more will have seen those posts and responded than may see this one.
Remember, coverage and premiums vary from state to state.

So who does your Auto Insurance? Get them to quote, then call Progressive
and Goodsam (I suspect Progressive will will, but maybe not..

Just because your agent is quitting Nationwide is no reason for you to change insurers IF you are happy with the coverage and price you have.
IF you want to shop around, call Progressive, or get a quote from GS provider or FMCA provider. Not all insurers can write a policy in all states, so check that first before wasting too much time getting quotes.
If possible, try to get a policy that provides "agreed value" coverage because otherwise all you'll get is ACV, which means they get to decide what to pay you IF the rig is totaled.

GEICO has been very good to me over the years. Best rates Ive ever had and they were very quick on a claim I had.

Hi Jeff!
We have gotten the best price from Safeco for the last several years.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
