What to do update Sofa, Captains chairs dinette

Good morning,

I would like to update the look of my Captain chairs, sofas and dinette but do not want to replace them.

My choices are covers or to being the coach to a upholster.

Has anyone done either?

Have only replaced in the MH, but I did have 2 chairs re-upholstered at the s&b. I could've bought 2 new chairs for what I paid to have them re-upholstered.

That's what I guessed. The sofas are not hideous just a bit dated.

We used a 3rd option - we reupholstered all of the items you mentioned ourselves. We used the old material as patterns. Also bought new higher density foam for the dinette. We bought UltraLeather Plus for the new material. It turned out really well.

That could be an option also.

There are a number of RV salvage yards you can find with a Google search. If one is reasonably close, you might call and see what is available.

You might also call one of the RV remodelers who advertises in Motorhome magazine, and see what they have on hand.
