What's better than Rain-X?
I have been using rain-x on my cars and now my MH for years. I was just wondering if there was something that does the same thing but will last longer.

Nothing I love Rain-X, I use it at the house on the inside of the shower doors. No water spots or soap scum. Last about a month on my windshield but I also use the Rain-X windshield wiper fluid

Rain-X is okay but we started using Rejex a few years ago and it seem to last longer. We use it on the entire front and anything facing forward like mirrors. We also use it as a wax for the windshield and it does make getting bug splatter easier to get off.

Ive used rejex before but I usually see it for 20 dollars compared to Rain-X about $2.50. Do you know anywhere to get it any cheaper than about $19 a bottle? Have you used it on it in door shower door?

You are talking about just the windshield, right? I haven't found anything better!

Take a look at Aquapel. I found out about it years ago from the autobody shop I use for detailing. It costs more but it does seem to last much longer. Many positive comments about the product on Amazon.

My experience RainX repels water off the windshield better but Rejex lasts a lot longer. I also use Rejex as a wax and it works well there too.

My experience is that Rejex lasts a longer than rain-x, however since I use Rejex as a wax for the entire motorhome including the roof, sides and front and rear caps it is more cost effective. If I were only going to do my windshield then I would probably use rain-x even if I had to reapply more often. My cars and truck get rain-x.

Rustolium has a new product called Rainbrella. I have not tried it yet. They claim it outlasts RainX. I'm a RainX fan, just looking for something to last longer.

I used Rain-X on my shower door. It works, however the fumes were so strong while applying it, it almost knocked me out. I won't be doing that again.
BTW - the instructions say to only use outdoors (but who reads instructions )

Love my Rain X...
Been using Rain X for decades with great results but always apply a second coat if you want it to last a month or more. It also helps to start with a squeaky clean windshield before applying the Rain X.
Don't forget to use it on your mirrors as well.

I actually use the windshield washer fluid that has Rain-X in it (available at Walmart, about $2.50/gal) on all my vehicles...every time I use the washers, it re-applies Rain-X.
