What's the proper name of this valve ?

Attached are 3 pic's of my Normal / Tank fill valve. It's a two way, 90º brass valve and the PEX tubing connected to it is 5/8" OD.

It has developed a very slow leak—it's not closing all the way when set to Normal—making my water pump intermittently come on. I have since sprayed it with penetrating oil several times, working the valve back and forth and has seemed to fix it for now.

But as a precaution, I want to buy a new identical brass valve & stem and just use the stem to replace the old stem in the existing valve. Changing out the entire valve is a PIA and not necessary. Can't find this brass valve anywhere on the web.

Questions:
1) What is the proper name of this 90º brass valve
2) Does anyone know where I can get one
3) If the PEX tubing is 5/8" OD, that would make the tubing ID 1/2" right?
4) Can anyone confirm that the new valve stem just unscrews from the valve body and I can screw the new stem in the old body?

thx

Take old one off, Lowes, Home Depot carry them. You will need the proper tools when replacing it.
Probably will require cutting off with GOOD cutter.
Changing just the on/off will not fix it. The ball valve inside is bad, preventing the on/off from turning all the way.
Might have debris stuck in it?

Can't be positive without seeing the actual valve behind it. There are two water system designs choices; one uses a simple on/off valve and the other a "3-way". Most use the 3-way as Old Biscuit described, and I'm pretty sure Winnie is one of them.

AND - just getting an identical valve does not guarantee the interchangeability of the internals. My house water shut off gate valve snapped off years ago. I chiseled it out of the stucco, and given that changing out a soldered in copper valve is a PITA, I just bought another to swap out the internals.

NOPE. The current manufacturers actually used the internals from smaller valves to save a few cents. Never found anything that would work.

Most likely "panel mount 3way valve" . The through panel may have single nut on stem like some electrical switches.

I was on my phone the pics looked like the part of brass valve showing and hole were a round bezel. I withdraw panel mount it must held in place some other way. You need to get a good look, the HD valved shared will probably work, just not every 3 way valve is configured the same some are T some are 90 angle.

BAGO has used both a 3-way valve OR a straight thru valve! I bought a 3-way from the factory, and then when I remove the valve it was a straight thru! Bummer - but I was at the factory for the Grand National Rally so not a problem. Point is to remove valve to assure what you have. Not that hard of a repair, plus I don't think you can replace just the internals.

Don't know the name but it's probably just a shut off valve.

On my Tiffin it's just an on off valve. Yhe way it works is one side of the valve is connected to the pressurized cold water line and the other side goes to the input to the water pump. Valve closed is normal operation valve open fills the tank.

When you winterize you should open the valve to blow the water out and potentially run some antifreeze through it. I'm going to guess you didn't know to do this and the valve was damaged during a freeze.

The tricky parts are getting the valve off without cutting it, or you can cut it and use a connector and then finding a valve that can mount nicely to your panel.

Winterizing fail?

On my coach this is just an on off valve. When winterizing you need to remember to winterize this valve if not a hard freeze can kil it.

OP here:
That's what ours is. It's a two way 90º On/OFF brass valve. We don't ever winterize. As it says in my signature, we are FTers. My wet bay has never experienced freezing.

Not going to remove valve.

I'll get a picture of the back of the valve soon and post it.

Probably scaled up. Why not remove it and soak it in muratic acid for a few minutes?

Well, I am thinking about pulling the stem and cleaning it but not with muriatic acid. Probably polish and clean it with 0000 steel wool and see if that helps it to seat better. BUT....I don't want to pull the old stem until—I HOPE—I can find a replacement stem first. That way when I pull the old one I might disturb something, or perhaps it has a couple of "O" rings in there or whatever, that might get damaged. Not sure what I'll find once I pull it. I just would like to have a new stem on hand JIC. That's why I'm trying to find what this valve is really called, buy a new one, then pull the old stem. Right now I've got the old valve so it's not leaking by spraying some penetrating oil in there and moving the valve back and forth. That has stopped my water pump to come on intermittently for now. I don't like living on a temporary fix though, only to find out later on it starts to leak by again in an inopportune time.
