AVG.........
That would depend on engine/weight and throttle position

Hear tell that 6-8 mpg is avg

Tank size....again dependent on which RV

100 gal-----6mpg/400 miles then find fuel
100 gal-----8mpg/600 miles then find fuel

1/4 tank is lowest I let fuel get to

130 gal.

I've never run it below 1/3 tank, so that I'll always have fuel for gen and diesel burner if needed.

UD-

Gas tank is 75 gallons. Coach gets about 7 mpg, or 500 miles on a tank.

I drive between 180 to 325 miles per day, and plan to fill up at the end of each day. So, I use between 25 to 50 gallons per travel day.

I try not to let the tank get below 1/4 before adding gas.

What's your fuel tank size and average fuel range?

150 gallon Tank
7.5 avg MPG (with generator time included) past 7 years
575 miles is average distance between adding fuel past 7 years.
~850 miles is about the max I let it go before adding
2-300 miles min just to top off either for a long drive or headed home.

This is the one feature I truly dislike in my older Class C.

29 gallons. 8mpg. So, looking for gas around 160 miles. Truly desperate at 200.

My fuel range is typically between 250 and 300 miles. I’ll pinch that back if fuel stations are fewer and farther between. Experiencing 12.5 to 13.5 mpg towing a Ford Escape, traveling around 62-63 mph. 26.2 gallon diesel fuel tank. Also top off every evening before dipping into the rv park while traveling day to day.

Thanks all,

I appreciate the reply. My gas coach has a 100 gal tank but only does about 6 mpg towing.

I am looking at diesel coach which gets 10-11gal but only has a 52 gal tank.

I have a 24.5 gallon fuel tank (diesel).

I can average between 15-20 depending if it's all highway or mixed. So, 360-490 if using every drop.

Generally, as the fuel gauge approaches 1/4 tank, I'm looking for a fuel station, so around 300 miles of driving.

My previous coach had a 230 gallon diesel tank. I was averaging about 6.8 mpg at 55,500 lbs. I would drive about 1,000 miles and then starting looking for fuel with the gauge halfway between 1/4-1/2.

Safe travels,
Mark

55 gallons @8.5 mpg I start looking for fuel 350~375 miles. More or less depending on where I am at the time.

128 gallons, 8 MPG, that's just over 1000 miles, but I don't let it get below 1/4 tank!
