We're at home. It too crazy out on the roads with holiday traffic.

CGs too crowded.

Coach looks lonely. Enjoy your anniversary.

We were at Frontiertown for the past week (near Ocean City MD). Came home Sunday - an annual trip for us. Traveling on the Sunday of a holiday weekend works great! We had no traffic and all day today to get ready for return to work...

We went to Kearney, NE, for the largest wedding I have ever been at. Only 300 at the wedding, but over 500 at the sit-down dinner reception. They sure know how to throw a good party over the fourth holiday in the mid-west!

It's tucked away in the garage. Not into camping on the 4th, Memorial, or Labor Day weekends. Just way to many crazies in the woods and on the water those weekends. We stay at home, BBQ and float in the pool.

Motorcoach in storage (no room at house to store).
We were manning a booth at the local celebration in our county. Hot yesterday but ended up sunburnt, even with being under a tent.

We are at the OBX in North Carolina! We travel on off days to avoid the traffic as others had suggested.

I would love to meet-up with fellow IRV2ers! I'll be smoking for fun (I also do competitions) at a campground in Aberdeen, SD, on Sept 24. Come camp me. We'll have the best dang BBQ ever! Message me for camping details.

Otherwise July 4th is my favorite holiday. As I mentioned, we traveled to Dakota Landing, a fishing village. There I discovered a golf cart parade. Over 50 golf cars all decorated. Coolest thing I've seen all summer! Then there was a corn hole competition. Then a free pulled pork feed. Loved seeing them cook up the hogs (thats on my bucket list to do with my smoker). Since fireworks are legal, that night everyone shot off fireworks and your head was on a spindle trying to watch them all. And all this was on Sunday, July 3rd.

So on July 4th we traveled back to Aberdeen and set-up at Wylie Park in Aberdeen and once again fired-up the smoker, had another amazing bbq, watched more fireworks and sat around the campfire til 1am. Now that's a weekend of camping!!
