Our estate lawyer told us the last 5 words on our will should be: "Sorry we spent it all!".
He also told us some try to max out their credit cards just prior to their demise!

This thread has a heretical purpose, It's unAmerican to propose not spending on bigger or better. What will your family, friends and colleges think it you don't have the most expensive toys??
All kidding aside, Your motorhome should be looked at more as a magic carpet, taking you to the places that make the journey of life the real goal, not the destination. Some will also have greater means than others to make their ride, smoother, faster or just more comfortable. As long as you don't in-debt yourself, and remember what you bought your MH for, all will be good.

Was thinking of buying used for next coach, but, now thinking of buying new. Reason is my mom is 85 now and I want to get her out at least 6 months a year vs the 1 now.
She now has Eldercare in mobile and it seems to be working so far. Thing is the current coach does not have enough room to move around. It is a great class C and has given us no problems. But special needs need more room.
Was looking at Tiffin 36La, but now the 36UA seems to be more practicable.

We had big plans to upgrade to a mid to high end gas class A, then this week I looked at our calendar and we will only use the coach 30 nights max due to other commitments.
No point upgrading now.
No big deal really as just paid of the loan and thats nice :-)

We just went through the same and asked ourselves why???
We would have had to make sacrifices on options, let alone ask ourselves about what was broke on a new coach, recall wise, and the time involved with “recall fixes”.
We learned we love our current coach even more.
We don’t need a higher payment along with the “unknowns” of what was gonna break/recalls of a new coach.
We actually looked at some used Prevost and a used Newell and they wanted to give us nothing for our current coach.
We decided to keep our current and spent the extra $$$ upgrades/service of our current and keep it.
We realize we will never get back what we have spent extra but...”it’s our home” as far as we are concerned.

I had the same question as to upgrade the existing MH or sell and get a newer. Lot cheaper to upgrade the existing and keep the piece of mine of all the PM put into our current MH. Sounds as you should do the same with your low mileage MH.

Why should I even bother with a newer\better coach
We bought ours at 5 years old. It’s now 9!
It fits. Upgrades of worn chairs and such are easy and inexpensive. But that’s all we have needed.
The tile floors and hardwood cherry cabinets will never go out of style for us, but they will gently turn darker and prettier as they age.
Why upgrade if your rig is already at your grade level?
Well, maybe the TV, if we ever use it enough to matter.
Some buy the highest blitz/glitz, and upgrade to the newest model often, never being satisfied with today’s model, without any regard for the degraded quality of “now”, while forgiving the builder/supplier inadequacy.
Happy Trails

Hi both,
I had the coach out for the 1st deive today since October, besides one hiccup (will post a new thread a out it), i had forgotten how much I enjoy driving it.
I recently changed my daily driver to a 2010 Toyoya Sequoia and the F53 deives nearly as well.
I am awaiting on a quote to replace the damaged decals and looking at replacing the sofas.
