Winter storage

Just interested what others do to reduce that musty smell that comes from being all closed up while in storage. Any suggestions?

We do a few things that directly and indirectly help. First we leave the roof vents partially open and to help defeat rodents we use drier sheets and another mouse repellent that has a pine type aroma. We’ve never had a musty smell issue.

This year, we don't have that problem as we are actually living in it while our house is being renovated. According to my wife, the only musty smells we have are coming from my shoes!

We store our MH in a heated/cooled enclosed building with the MH windows opened. No problems with musty smells.

We crack the roof vents and use Dri Rid in the coach to absorb moisture.

Keep the roof vents open and crack at least one or two side windows. You need that air flow to reduce the mustiness and rid yourself of the dampness.
