Wiper Seals Around Slimrack Slides

We have a 2018 Fleetwood Jamboree with LCI SlimRack (floating rail) slides. The outer wiper seals were cutout 3 inches around both upper and lower gear racks to allow them to pass through the wipers. We have a slide leaking, and I suspect this may be the entry point. For those of you with the SlimRacks is this similar to yours? Could anyone post a picture of their wiper seal next to the gear rack? Thanks for the help.

I have it as well and have seen them leak during heavy rains. I have thought about making some covers out of rubber that I can slip in there after the slide is extended. Just have to remember to remove them before retracting them. Not a good design but it appears it is standard.
