Wireless HDMI

I am looking for information on wireless HDMI. I won’t to hook up my satellite receiver and TV in one room and in the other room hook up the wireless receiver and TV. Any advice on what kind to use and any problems anyone has had.
Thanks

If you have Directv then use their wireless receivers. Very simple.

If using Dish Hopper use wireless Joeys on each remote TV.

I picked up a "my Wireless TV" setup off craigslist a few years ago. I got it primarily for a TV I have in the back yard by our outdoor kitchen. It "shoots: thru 2 concrete block walls. I also take it into the coach to use in the bedroom. Works great. It also has an IR repeater, so the remote control for the old directv box that is above the dashboard works in the bedroom too.

I agree I have been using IOGEAR for several years now with no issues.

Good option if you don't want to go Hopper.

This is what I use to get to my back TV. 35 foot coach with the transmit and receive at the complete other end. It works for us, we have connectivity issues rarely but we do get them.

Iogear at 200$ works well. GW3DHDKIT
There are cheaper models and much less expensive junk available ( I tried some of them ) there are also some very expensive 500$ solutions.
Don’t cheap out .. you won’t be happy
There are limits to these devices as how many walls etc but I’ve used the above model for two years with no problems In our motorhome to go from the sat receiver in a slideout to the front drop down tv without cables.

^^^THIS.

The $50 dongle on Amazon just isn't going to cut it. The component cost is pretty high on something like this so realistically you're not going to see anything that works for under $150

I use a J-tech at my house to transmit to my outdoor TV: works about as well as any of them. No real issues and it included a eye for the remote

There is no cable connection between wireless Joey and Hopper. Wired Joey yes, wireless Joey no.

I second that. I’ve had two wireless setups. The first one I had drop issues and pairing issues. I got the latest from IO and all works great. Have had the current unit installed for about six months.
