Wood floor

I know there was an earlier thread on this but I wasn't able to find it with a search. Someone did wood floors in an older Newmar MH and discussed the rollers on those big, heavy slides. My slides leave a deep impression in the sculpted carpet when they are in. I wonder if that's a problem for wood floor? I have someone who has done them but he hasn't dealt with the Newmar slides.

I believe the other person said he swapped out the rollers, but I suspect that would mean stepping the slide and I know I wouldn't try it.

I installed hardwood throughout. To protect the floors from the rollers I built some floor protectors from .040” aluminum with a rubberized finish on bottom.
