Worried about using slideout
I recently got a 2000 Holiday Rambler Endeavor MH 38CDS and was installing a stainless steel organizer ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017807DT0) in a narrow kitchen cabinet. But two 1/4" diameter x 10" long rods rolled under the kitchen cabinet and I fear fell down into where the slide out mechanism might be.
The slide out is the whole living room and kitchen. From the slide out diagrams I can find on the internet, I feel like the fallen rods should not cause any problems, but I'm not sure.
What chance could these rods have of jamming the slide out? I'm a bit worried about extending the slide out now because I don't know for sure.
Thanks if you can help me understand this.

Magnet on the end of a thin dowel or long handle might be handy. I'm not familiar with your coach so can't offer any other advice on the slide. Good luck on retrieving the rod.

Try a magnet on some of the other parts. If it's good quality stainless, it won't stick, but lower quality with more iron in it will stick to a magnet.
Can you see them? Maybe you can grab them with some mechanical fingers.

I probably have the same slide mechanism and in my case the slide is elevated above the floor and supported by rollers. If the pieces easily rolled under the slide there must be enough clearance.
You might try "tipping" the motorhome with the jacks to see if they roll back out.

Some stainless steel is indeed magnetic and it depends on whether it is 300 or 400 series stainless.

Thank you all
I'm a new member here and new to RVing (well, it's been 15 years since I had a 34' gas-powered Pace Arrow with no slide-outs). I just want to express my gratitude for all the helpful comments given. I hope to soon gain enough knowledge and experience to return the favor.
I was able to find and extract one of the rods with a strong magnet and an endoscope taped to the end of an aluminum yard stick. I'm going to try tilting the RV today.

Similar thing happened to me with AA batteries. I went out and pulled back the rubber slide seal under the slide and found them resting down in the gap. They would not have down any damage where they were but I want things out of there. I was surprised how easy it was to find them.

If the magnet doesn't work then try using something long, like maybe a steel yardstick or small square tubing, to see if you can rake it out. I wouldn't use the slideout until you get it out!
Our kitchen slideout has a rubber seal underneath that can be easily lifted up or removed so something like that could be reached fairly easily.

No worries about the mechanism, but something lying under there could maybe get jammed by a roller or skid. Note likely, but not impossible either.
A tip: if your coach has a manual awning, you have an awning hook. Slim, stiff, with a 90 degree hook on the end. It's a great tool for fishing objects out from under or behind things.

Even some 300 series is slightly magnetic, maybe just enough to gently pull the rods to where you can get them. I know stainless well after having worked with it for 40 years.

Go buy a cheap fibre glass fishing rod and take the guides off and perhaps the handle. It will take a lot of punishment under there as you continue your "fishing expedition".

I still have a scar on a finger from a chip curling off stainless steel on a lathe in the '60's. Tough stuff.
DaveGalt, have you tried moving the slide in just a little bit at a time? You may be able to spot the second piece easier if the slide is part way in.
