Very true.

We had decided last night to leave it on as a pay it forward.

No, I would not remove it.
1. Cost involved vs sale price
2. It is primarily a safety device. Ask yourself how you would feel if they had a front tire blowout causing a serious accident?
3. It may not add anything to the sale price, but it may help you make the sale.

Hi,

I am trading the coach in, deal has been done already.

As mentioned earlier we decided to leave it on as a pay it forward. Dealer did tell me to remove it and sell it.

Then that's what I would do.

Yeaterday I was moving the coach to a new storage bay (old one not tall enough for new coach). I felt a jolt with the wheel fully locked. Got out and looked under the coach and the stabilizer bar had dropped a bit. I am taking the coach in to trade on Friday I will ask my truck shop to check it out.

Removing equipment off of a vehicle you've already represented for a sale transaction for a may not be quite legal

I have not sold it, I am trading it in.
Please see my last posts, I had planned to leave it on the coach. If it is damaged (see last post). I will remove it.

Btw, dealer told me to take it off, I offered to leave it for the next person.
